What are the costs of studying English language in the United States of America?

The cost of studying English language in the United States is (1600-3000 US dollars) for a full semester. The length of this semester is 3 months.

How much is the cost of housing and living in the United States of America?

The monthly living fees range between (350-1000 US dollars) and vary depending on city or state.

 

What is the cost of a master's and bachelor's degree at US universities?

The costs vary considerably between different universities, educations and cities. But, the cost of a bachelor’s and master’s degree roughly ranges from (10-30 thousand US dollars) a year.

 

How much does it cost to study engineering at US universities?

The cost of studying different types of engineering is approximately (25,000 US dollars) a year.

As for computer or software engineering the cost is approximately (12,000 US dollars) a year.

 

How long is a master’s and Ph. D degree at US universities?

A master’s degree can usually be completed in two years and Ph. D degree can be completed in 5 years.

 

What does conditional admission mean?

Conditional admission means that you will be admitted to a college or university on the condition that you will successfully complete further English language training by taking TOEFL or IELTS or any other test approved by the university you are applying to. Once you fulfill this condition you will be able to start studying in the USA.

 

Are admission costs different from conditional admission costs?

Usually the same fees are paid for both cases, except if the student wants to study English at an institute different from the university institute where he intends to study to get his degree.

 

Do you have an office in Jordan?

We have employees residing in Jordan. Our Main Office is located in Virginia in the United States of America. We process all the required papers and send it to the student in Jordan and then prepare the student for the embassy interview.

What are the requirements to apply for admission to a US university?

General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) in English.

College or university degree in English.

College or university transcripts in English.

Copy of the TOEFL or IELTS score (if applicable).

Practical experience certificate in English.

Training courses in English.

A bank statement of (13-25 thousand US dollars) for the student or sponsor.

A notarized guarantee paper from the sponsor.

Recommendation letters (if applicable).

 

Photocopy of passport.

General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) in English.

College or university degree in English.

Can Kesan Educational Services provide accommodation for students?

We will assist the student in searching and acquiring accommodation, as we are working with a specialized company to find accommodation for students and this company provides this service free of charge.

 

Can Kesan Educational Services help to obtain a visa for work, tourism or immigration?

At Kesan Educational Services, we specialize in student visa only.

 

Do you offer travel and work trips services?

We specialize in educational services only.

 

Can a student work while studying?

Yes, you can work for up to 20 hours a week legally on campus.

 

Can a student work after completing the degree in the United States of America?

Yes, a student can work for a period of one to three years after completing university education in the United States of America.

 

What services do you offer when the student arrives in the United States of America?

Kesan Educational Services will meet the student at the airport and help him/her start a bank account. We will also explain the transportation system and accompany the student during the first official day at the Institute or the university as well as help the student to obtain a driver’s license.

 

Does the admission of a student in a particular major depend on his/her final grade (average) in the general secondary school or in the bachelor's degree?

In most cases no, however, there are some majors that need high grades.

 

What is the minimum level of education that a student need to be able to study at universities, colleges or institutes in USA?

The student must have at least a general secondary certificate to be able to study a bachelor’s degree and must have a bachelor’s degree to be able to study the master’s degree.

The student must have general secondary certificate to get accepted in an English language institute in USA.

 

Will the student lose the paid money if he/she failed to obtain approval in the embassy interview?

The student will lose the pre-paid amount to receive the service from our office and the non-refundable fees paid to the university or institute as well as the pre-paid visa fees to the US Embassy in your own country if you failed to obtain a visa.

 

Where are the institutes and universities that Kesan Educational Services work with located? Are these institutes and universities recognized internationally?

Most of institutions and universities that Kesan Educational Services work with are located in Virginia, Washington and Maryland.

Does having relatives in the United States affect the embassy interview?

In most cases having relatives in USA does not affect the student or the embassy interview if they are not first-degree relatives.

If the student has first-degree relatives (brother, father, mother, sister, uncle) in USA it will have an effect on the embassy decision to grant him/her a visa.

What is the duration of the bachelor's and master's studies for the following majors?

The majors that students are heavily applying for to study in the United States of America are engineering and business administration.

Engineering of all types: Bachelor (4-5 years).

Engineering of all types: Master (2 years).

College of Business Administration: Bachelor (3-4 years).

College of Business Administration: Master (1-2 years).

Is getting accepted in universities in USA guaranteed?

The student’s chances of obtaining admission from universities in USA are not guaranteed because they depend mainly on the student’s qualifications including educational, material, practical experience, year of graduation, university level, proof of these qualifications, and first-degree relatives in USA and whether the student has been rejected before when applying for a US visa and if the student can provide proof of his close connection to his/her place of residence (such as: real estate, movable and immovable property, close family ties) and the classification of the university that the student got accepted into.

 

Is getting a student visa in USA guaranteed?

There are no guarantees 100%. Getting a visa depends on the student’s qualifications and the strength of his/her application. What is the amount that must be in the student bank account to enable him/her obtain acceptance from university?

(25 thousand US dollars) at least. If the student can provide a larger amount, it will increase his/her chances of getting admitted to the university.

 

If the student holds a certificate of experience in the major he/she is applying for, will this increase the chances of acceptance?

Certainly, this will be a factor that can increase the student’s chances of admission along with the student’s grades.

 

What financial factors will increase student chances of admission?

The student ability to prove the possession of movable and immovable property such as a strong bank statement, a commercial register and real estate registered in the name of the student or in the name of the financial sponsor.

 

If the financial sponsor is the student's uncle, will this affect his/her acceptance chances?

Yes, the student’s admission chances might decrease. It is preferable that the financial sponsor is a parent, brother or sister of the student. The employer sponsorship is one of the factors that increase the chances of admission at universities in USA and also helps you in the embassy interview because it convinces the consul that you have a close connection with your country and that you have the intention to return there after graduation.

What are the language requirements for a master's degree in the United States of America?

The student must have a TOEFL or IELTS certificate with a score of not less than 6.5 out of 9. At kesan Educational Services, we offer the students admission to an English Language Institute in the United States to obtain this certificate before they apply for a Master’s degree.

What is the SEVIS fee?

SEVIS Is an information system for visitors and students of the United States of America. It is an internet-based database used by U.S. government to maintain and manage accurate and up-to-date data regarding non-immigrant students with (F or M) visa, and exchange visitors with (J visa) and the holders of (F-2, M-2, J-2) visa.

The student information will be put into the SEVIS system by the university administrator. Then the student’s initial (I-20) form will be created and will be with the student throughout his/her continuing study period in the United States of America even if the student changes his/her major or transfers to a new university or institute.

How many semester is in a school year for studying English Language?

The school year is divided into 3 semesters and each semester is 3 months.

 

Does Kesan Educational Services provide a service for graduate students to pursue doctoral studies in the United States?

Unfortunately, no. U.S. universities usually do not allow education services offices to apply for doctoral programs for students who completed a master’s degree in their home country.

 

If the student applying for the visa has already been rejected, can Kesan Educational Services office help him/her? Will this affect his chances of getting acceptance next time?

Yes, but Kesan Educational Services had already applied for students who had been rejected before and after applying through our office they were accepted.

 

On what does acceptance or rejection of the student depend on?

Acceptance or rejection depends on the changes in the student’s financial or academic status or on the new experiences acquired by the student at work.

 

If a student finds a scholarship at an American university, can Kesan Educational Services’ office help him/her apply for this university?

Unfortunately, no. U.S. universities that provide scholarships for students do not allow educational services offices to apply for the students.

 

If the student fulfills all of the above requirements and meets all admission requirements at a university in the United States of America, how to start applying?

If the application is sent to the Kesan Educational Services and the student does not receive a quick reply?

Our office is fully aware that the student has sent this request and will be communicating with the student as soon as possible. The period of waiting for response will not exceed two working days, this is due to the large number of applications that are handled daily by our office.

 

Are there extra fees to the semester fees? And what is the cost of these extra fees?

There are basic fees for the student’s application and other fees for Immigration Services and additional fees for the embassy interview. The cost of these fees is approximately (600 US dollars) for all these services.

 

Does the Office offer admission services to U.S. universities for students from all countries of the world?

Our Office provides admission services to U.S. universities only for Arab students with Jordanian nationality or the nationality of one of the Gulf States. However, our Office provides other services to students of other nationalities. For more information, please click on the link below.

 

Can students who did not achieve good grades in their general secondary certificate apply to study in the United States of America?

The student must have an average of at least 70%.

 

Is Kesan Educational Services for English Language studies the same as conditional admission?

No, the service of conditional admission is different from the service of English Language studies.

 

Can a student apply for a visa or university in USA without a bank statement and only rely on proof of ownership of lands or non-monetary property?

No, the student must provide a bank statement containing an amount of not less than (25 thousand US dollars).
